My Diary

I have been very poorly and was in the hospital for nearly a whole week. Read about it on the Sick as a Parrot page.
	We have a heatwave at the moment. It won't last though! It is very warm and sunny here right now which is lovely because I need to keep warm after my sickness.
Carol and Matty did go to India a in March but Carol was only away a few days. I went to stay with Uncle Geoff and Auntie Helen and had a lovely, lovely time. I really like staying there because I see lots of people and have loads of company. Thank you for looking after me so well.
	I haven't learned any new words lately. I am getting quite lazy. I love to just tear up paper and then flap my wings so that all the bits go everywhere. It's such great fun!! [Carol doesn't think so for some reason].

Lots of people have visited my site and left me messages. Thank you for flying by and please do call in again sometime soon. Thank you all for your lovely messages and for signing my guestmap. I do try to tell Carol to help me to write back to you all but she is ever so busy sometimes. If you write again, I'll tell her to get back to you.
	You may remember that I told you about the two ducks that flew into our garden some time ago. Well during 2007, we had a number of different duck visitors but not usually at the same time. There was a very pretty female who Carol called Toffee Quack because she had a toffee colour. She was so pretty. They didn't lay eggs though which is probably wise as there are foxes around at night and that is quite dangerous to ducklings. May and Harold arrive nearly every evening on their way home for a bite to eat and bath in the pond. Then after about half an hour, they fly off to wherever they sleep. Poor May has injured her leg but she gets around ok.
Carol has shown me some lovely photos from India and I thought it might be nice to share some of them. It's interesting to see different places in the world. Do you live in a different country to me? Let's have a World Page and have photos from all around the world. I'll start it off by putting some photos of England and India. Why not send a photo from another country and we could include it on our world page.
