name is Bobby. I am an African Grey Parrot and I live in the West

live with Matty, and Carol. Matty is my favorite person
and I will tell you all about him on my friends page. |

I
sleep in a big, big cage at night but during the day, I like to sit on my
stand in the conservatory so that I look at the garden.

used to live with David but I got lonely when he went to work. So David
asked Matty if I could live there with him. I have been living with
Matty for about six years now. |

I am
about 12 years old now which is quite young for a parrot. We can live
for a very long time - sometimes about 50 - 60 years!! So I should
live till I'm a very old man. |
 |
I
love to whistle and talk. I am very good at copying sounds and I can
make Carol think that the phone is ringing so she runs to answer it - and
then when she picks the phone up she realises it is me!! It's great fun. |

| I am
very good at making all sorts of sounds - I surprise visitors by doing a
nice wolf whistle or saying hello in a very posh voice - sometimes they
don't realise it was me and think there is someone else in the room! |

I
also like to play with toys. My favorite toy at the moment is
a roly poly duck which jingles when he wobbles. I
bang him hard with my beak to try to knock him over but he bounces straight
back up! When he wobbles up again, I say 'Quack quack"!! |
